Do you want a GTX 780 or a GTX 680. Basically that's what you're asking. IMO it's a no brainier to go with the 780.

First off do you have a PSU that can power a GTX 770 or GTX 780 you dont list one

And the GTX 770 is a GTX 680 with faster VRAM and GPU boost 2.0

Which Cooler Master PSU?

I sure hope its not a GX series that has a E in the serial number

If you do rip that PSU out of the PC before it goes up in flames

There are two version of the GX series the old GX made by Seventeam which is horrible

Then there is the newer GX bronze made by Enhance Electronics which is a litte bit better but is still far from being good

So does it say bronze on the side of the PSU?

The old Seventeam has E in the serial number the new one by Enhance Electronics has D in the serial number

RS-750-ACAA-E3 = trash
RS-750-ACAA-D3 = better but still not very good

Then its not a fire hazard but just barely

The Cooler Master GX 750W is somewhat inferior to the pair of leaders. It cannot boast modular design and its voltages are not so stable due to the lack of dedicated regulation. It also has too few graphics card connectors for its wattage. On the other hand, it is the quietest PSU in this review, together with the Enermax.

You could keep it but you would also put your brand new video card at risk

Note it may sound like its a huge risk its not that bad a PSU but its not good either so yes there would be risk

Up to you if you want to take that risk or not

For that big resolution then the 780 will be good for you
But for me as I gaming on 1920x1080 60fps the 770 I think it will be good for me, isnt it ?

Really you want to spend 650$ on a video card but not 70$ for a PSU that would keep it safe

Just asking?

It depends whether you care about the overall performance of the card, or the performance per dollar. If you have the budget for a GTX 780, then I would buy the 780. I have a GTX 670 (which i really regret buying) and in hindsight, I should have bought a 680.

In general, you should buy the best single GPU that you can afford.

If this is your power supply http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817171053 then according to these specs, http://www.coolermaster.com/product/Detail/powersupply/gx-series/gx-750w.html it should be fine to run either of the cards.

Dont trust what it says

The main problem with the GX is its a cheap unit made with cheap parts so its not very good it cant even do 750 watts

Dont look at watts and efficiency it tells you nothing about how good a unit is

Yes its quality not quantity

i rather have a decent 80 plus bronze 550 watts PSU then a crappy 80 plus gold 750 watts PSU

Performance per dollar would probably favor the 770 at that res.
If the performance is way better then I chose the expensive one

The question is the difference in performance worth the extra 250 $ ?

I did a quick calculation using the Valley benchmark thread to put a metric on cost vs fps.

400/55fps=7.2 $/fps (not the greatest ratio)

650/80fps=8.13 $/fps

The 780 will run u a buck more but it gives a a much greater return in fps, but you have to spend a larger chunk of funds to buy it.
