Yes its quality not quantity

i rather have a decent 80 plus bronze 550 watts PSU then a crappy 80 plus gold 750 watts PSU

If the performance is way better then I chose the expensive one

The question is the difference in performance worth the extra 250 $ ?

I did a quick calculation using the Valley benchmark thread to put a metric on cost vs fps.

400/55fps=7.2 $/fps (not the greatest ratio)

650/80fps=8.13 $/fps

The 780 will run u a buck more but it gives a a much greater return in fps, but you have to spend a larger chunk of funds to buy it.
