Non-RAID SATA controller w/5 or more ports

Thread Starter
I run WHS 2011 with drive pool, and have completely filled the SATA ports on my mobo. I would like to be able to add more storage with a SATA card, but am having a hard time finding a non-RAID controller card with more than 4 ports that doesn't cost an arm and a leg together.
I know it isn't the usual thing to want more than 4 ports on what is essentially a SATA expansion card, but I want one anyway. Newegg had a couple the last time I looked, but the reviews for them were horrible...

Search Ebay for a Perc5i, its a RAID card with SAS connectors, but with SAS -> SATA adapters you should be able to do what you want. The cards are inexpensive and of course a RAID card doesn't mean that you have to use the drives in RAID. The cards are generally $35 - 40 thumb.gif
