Agree. On the mobile landscape they have pretty much been wiped off. Their once promising ION HTPC platform has been murdered by AMD and Intel's IGPs, just like their entire graphics card range from the GT610 to the GT640.

They can't compete in low power because ARM trounces their offerings, and neither in the ultraportable/integrated segment because both AMD and Intel already have powerful enough solutions from themselves.

All that's left for them is high end desktop/workstation, and computing coprocessors really. And the competition is fierce, with Xeon Phi as a new contestant, and AMD's FirePro securing the Mac Pros.

Tegra 4 have secured a confirmed OEM design win(Transformer Pad Infinity) ahead of its main competitor the Snapdragon 800(rumored to be on GNote3, but no confirmation yet) and Nividia's integrated LTE modem tech will keep them a float for a while(as neither Intel or any ARM SOC maker beside Qualcomm have this).

Nividia's biggest problem right now is that Tegra4i is super late(2014) and they don't have a efficient ARM architecture between A7 & A15(like Qualcomm Krait300/400 or Apple Swift).

For them to make a decent phone SOC they need a CPU design from ARM, either A57(end of 2013?) have to be very power efficient or A12(28nm and late 2014) have to come through.
