Not just WoW, but several other MMOs right now have that feature. Tera and Marvel heroes comes to mind.

Seeing as this will require a massive bandwidth from their side, why not also do what some steam games allow like pre download 99% of the content beforehand and 1% on the release day? Seems more bandwidth friendly allowing people to download it during the previous week instead of streaming data to everyone at the launch date.
PlayGo could still exist alongside to benefit people buying the game post launch where pre-download won't be of any use.

Did you seriously delete my post? Because it wasn't anti-microsoft sentiment, it deserved to be deleted? I think we can see where the biases lie. I was referring to how PS4 games are going to run at 30 fps, even if they're first party titles.

And just because I'm saying something negative about Sony doesn't mean I like what Microsoft is doing. Sony fanboys are only using Microsoft's horrible presentation to sell themselves. They've showed nothing great at E3.
