I would only consider phase if I could run the system for a month without thinking.

Do you get frost on the board with that?

not at all
only with dryice the mobo will frezze

with phase and with that retention kit its easy to insulate the mobo well

a litle update...

we got he 8800 gtx to work
using a asus p5b deluxe...no mods.....and a enermax noisetaker 600w
vcore was 1,7 in bios 1,62 in windows...damm asus and the vdrop

Great overclock.
But i think that E6600 can get to 5.0ghz, some guys have done that here on ocn.
They used PWD2 with the i975X chipset, wich overclocks better the cpu , but has some trouble with the ram.
I definetly think that C2D's are the most overclockable cpu's ever made!
