The moment when PC gamers will be able to kill their friends in the most disgusting ways is almost upon us. Mortal Kombat PC will be releasing in almost two weeks, and GreenManGaming has it available for pre-orders. The game is priced at $29.99, . and you can find some new screenshots from the PC version, as well as its system requirements, below

Minimum Requirements
-OS: (32-bit) Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8
-CPU: Intel Core Duo, 2.4 GHz / AMD Athlon X2, 2.8 GHz
-Memory: 2 GB
-Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTS / AMD Radeon 3850
-DirectX: DX 10
-Windows XP and DirectX 9.0c and below not supported

Recommended Requirements
-OS: (64-bit) Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8
-CPU: Intel Core i5 750, 2.67 GHz / AMD Phenom II X4 965, 3.4 GHz
-Memory: 4 GB
-Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 / AMD Radeon HD 6950
-DirectX: DX 11

They obviously had to cut Windows XP support. But at least they were smart enough to keep Vista.
Nice to know some developers still have sense! wheee.gif

It's just a courtesy for those on limited bandwidth.
I can't imagine anybody living with less than 30 Mb but there's at least a few out there.

It's nice for those people with limited data plans, overseas with limited bandwidth and a couple other instances. Not so much the speed as the actual data coming in.

I have been waiting for this for awhile and it's only $30, amazing. Do hope they continue bringing MK back to the PC.

Pretty easy requirements, and not bad graphics. Could be worth a buy.

And Vista support is really nothing, after all, Windows 7 and Windows 8 are, for that most part, just reworked (slightly) versions of Vista anyway.

Does anybody know if the gameplay for this is going to be fast paced like the old MKs, like MK 4,3 or 2? Maybe shaolin monks...

Because later they changed the games to that stupidly slow combat like in tekken, or the latest street fighters.
I just hated that so much and couldn't believe how did they fixed what wasn't broken.

The last mortal kombat I played was for the original Xbox and I remember enjoying it quite a bit. I'll likely throw down for this.
