Well, either way. I would be disappointed with Sony too if they did this. I had no preference before this whole thing started. But to think of all the countries that Microsoft gave the middle finger to by doing this. All of the people (the article about troops being an excellent example) that were loyal xBox 360 supporters that they instantly turned off. It just sucks for so many people.
And...it doesn't matter if Sony changed their mind a year before making the announcement, or a few minutes. Bottom line is...they didn't
tell the world that they're giving a big 'screw you' to a huge percentage of gamers, Microsoft did.
it was ms employee who tweeted that it will be always online and people went nuts, so sony saw no always online and adapted. the employee was later forced to resign

Their worthless overbearing crap of DRM has NOTHING to do with the ability to share games!
Screw Microsoft! Sony has crushed them so bad this round, it isn't even funny.
I believe Sony wrote yesterday they are thinking about sharing too.

Microsoft is just smart enough right now, to realize it was a poor choice. I'm glad they are changing the policy, and it makes me happy to see a company listen to the people. Never the less, I will own both PS4 and Xbox One. I love gaming too much...
ms and smart dont go along. you are not smart if you are blinded by greed. and thats their problem. they simply dont think "what would make customers like us as sony is hated by so many?"

Now what I am concerned with is what "plan B" is for Microsoft. I do not think we've heard the last of the DRM discussion.
after a year we decided to bring you the share family feature, are you not ecstatic? wait why are you not buying games anymore, waaaait what no consoles, why?

you are right, if there wasnt ms, this backlash would be now against sony as they would be doing it

It's illegal to False Advertise
in the US and probably many other places in the world aswell.
all they have to do is send some internal emails proving they changed it because publishers wanted it so. and they have an army of lawyers. also in eula you waive your right to sue them, they changed it just last week, i ask why would they do it hmm

The drm policy was anti consumer and bs, but that is gone.

PS4 proved that a company who listens to its consumer base will always be the best received, and the backpedaling by M$ here proves that they don't listen to their consumers up-front, but only after the fact. Meaning that they make decisions without the customer in mind. Sounds like the class action lawsuit being banned on the XBone is another prime example along with no change in Kinect policies. What a joke. They would have been better off leaving everything the same, and reducing the price by $101 to undercut Sony.
i hate sony but yeah, xbone should burn and i hope it still will. they wouldnot closed the division, but it would be reminder for 15 years to entire industry what happens if you try to go anti consumer. it would educate microsoft that they should not try to educate customers, because customers can choose competition

i hate sony, but you know the saying. fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. they did it once they will do it again. they ignored customers with win8 and then they decided to ignore customers with xbone. they only changed it because they saw preorder numbers

ps4 has better specs, has stronger gpu has better ddr5 compared to dd3, has higher memory rate. just read it up. xbone has worse hardware
anyway i would say i do not wish to be xbone engineer now who has to rework this entire backpedaling of the managers ...
