I can't seem to overclock my AMD Radeon HD 7700 series.

Thread Starter
I just bought this video card and It's working yes but when I open up "GPU-z" and go to sensors, it says that I have 0.0 MHz on GPU Core Clock and Memory Clock. I've looked up some information about my Graphics Card and it seems that it can run high quality games but I can't even run my game in medium quality. I tried some overclocking with this but whenever I try to adjust my clocks and hit apply, it just simply goes back to 0.0 MHz.

Graphics Card:
AMD Radeon HD 7700 Series
Intel Core i7 3770

What AMD video driver do you have installed for your GPU? And what gpu do you have exactly?

Does this answer your question?
And I don't seem to know what video driver i've installed. Is it the CD that I use to install ?
If you installed the drivers that came on the cd your best bet is to go to the amd website and download the current drivers to see if that helps.

Make sure you uninstall current drivers before you install the new ones though.

I keep doing this: Uninstall Drivers, Restart, Install Drivers from the internet, restart, then boom. My GPU Memory Clock still says 0.0 MHz. I disabled the automatic driver updates from Windows but still it does not work.

This may or may not help you out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FlxIvc16vQg

Also it's always best to get your drivers from the manufactures website: http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/Pages/index.aspx

Make sure you uninstall all previous drivers using software like this: http://www.overclock.net/t/1130717/new-version-uninstaller-by-atiman.

Good luck and enjoy your card!thumb.gif

Has has 13.4 which is the current stable driver so i dont think that drivers are at all the issue here.
I'm Curious as to what overclocking tool is being used though. I would suggest using MSI afterburner if its not being used already.

Possibly didn't fully uninstall the previous drivers installed from the disk?

This is what happened when I ran the ATIMAN UNINSTALLER. My GPU Core **** worked but I can't run any of my games. Then I installed the Drivers I needed then after I installed it it returned back to 0. I don't know why. It seems like I've been installing the wrong drivers? But I'm installing drivers from the AMD Website and I'm pretty sure they're the right ones
