H80i takes long to cool down.

Originally I had a standard h80 in my case with sp120 quiet edition fans in p/p. The pump started going out so I ordered a h80i. When I got it my temps seemed a little funny so I reseated it 3 times with as5. My idle temps are good at about 30-28-28-30. Load is also good. About 68-72c prime. What is weird though is unlike my standard h80. After putting load to it the temps don't drop of right away when the load is taken off. It will drop to about 50c and just very slowly go back to idle temps after about 5 minutes. The sp120s are running at constant 12v which is fine because they are almost silent. Anyone else experience this?

Does the H80i control the pump speed based on CPU temperature?

Sounds like something is slowing down when the CPU temperature drops, and as you said your fans are running at a constant 12v that just leaves the pump.

As far as I know the pump is a fixed speed.
