Id HIGHLY recommend you do NOT bling out the fan blades (with crystals), go wild on the rest but you want those fans pushing as much air as they can. It sounds like you have the right idea with the case in general, whatever you get, your gonna want good cable management.
I also didnt notice if you mentioned it, but id also Highly recommend a SSD for your OS/boot drive. Dependent on how serious you are with PS and the like you may even want a SSD for a scratch drive. i wouldnt go any lower then 120GB for a boot drive and am wishing myself i had at least a 240 instead of my 120.
Good luck with the build, setup a build log when you get started, sounds like this will be pretty cool (maybe i can convince my fiance to let me build her a computer if i show her your more girly one lol)
Thanks for the advice
I decided not to go the the 4770K only because I was thinking that many times there are issues with electronics in the beginning on a new run (only experienced this with new cars) so sticking with tried and true was the only reason I went 3770K.
The fans, you made me LOL seriously, I meant the center of the fans, not the blades
If I did the blades and they fell off, you made me think of flying rhinestones all over the place inside.
As far as everything else it is all typical, which is why no mention of it, WD CB 1TB HDD, 128 GB SSD, 750W PSU, 16GB RAM, and probably a CM Hyper 212 EVO for cooler, not sure if I am up to doing any water cooling just yet. If I decide to add 2 cards later then I will upgrade to water cooling
Also, I totally agree with keeping the current set-up. No need to go to E series in my opinion tooEdited by ann72 - 6/19/13 at 6:39pm
