Corsair Raptor H5 microphone problems

Hello all,

so I bought the Raptor H5 Headphones from Corsair a little while back and just got around to using the microphone. Unfortunately, it sounds like abslute crap. It's really low and sounds like I'm really far away even though the mic right next to my mouth. I've tried messing with the drivers and all sorts of windows options in Control Panel but couldn't get it to work properly.

I did some searching on Google and found that this problem is possibly caused by the "noise-cancelling" feature of the mic. Some think that instead of cancelling background noise, it cancels out the user's voice, making it sound like ****. Still I found no solution, you guys have any ideas what is wrong and how I can fix it? Or should I just RMA? (it's been a while since I bought the thing...)

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Nvm I'll just RMA it. It's apparently a hardware problem.
