Xbox laptop

So im wanting to start this project but really havent a clue how to get the case and all that together or made, i like challenges and this is one of my final ones ( yah right) anyway i plan on making my slim into a laptop along with my netbook, xbox can be watercooled or air, im going with whichever is better, in terms of which one even fits first, im going to probably go with a 19" 720p screen and RGH the 360, or thought about putting in a SSD/HDD hybrid? cool, dont know, or a 3.5in, not really wanting to renew my subscription so, no more live for me.

So my first question is

How the heck am i gonna make this case, do i need to use CAD? ask a manufacturer? theres a local factory i could go to. honestly i dont know how to pain and, im just eager to do this, but i dont know where to start.

This would be a pretty ambitious task, and probably not worth it in the end.

The professional way would be designing the case with CAD and having a 3D printing company print it out for you.
If looks are not important and it's all about functionality, you could always build an enclosure out of wood or sheetmetal depending on your shop skills.

Either way, you still have something that needs a power brick plugged in the wall to operate unless you improvise with a battery.

For storage it would probably be best to stick with a 2.5" 320GB HDD. I replaced the weak 20GB HDD that came in the original white xbox 360's with one of THESE (and THESE for slim). Just keep in mind that you wouldn't want to be moving the unit while it's in operation to avoid HDD damage.

Just a quick question though, why does this have to be an Xbox? There's plenty of laptops out there that can run the PC version of the game reasonably well and allot of games have full support for Xbox controller gameplay, including wireless controllers with THIS.

Well i mean obviously the xbox is outdated, and i was going to go with a ps4 laptop, or pc laptop (which i could just buy) and keep all my steam games which i also use on my desktop, or have fun and build a unique laptop. i like challenges is all and ive never done this, ive read alot on ben heck but that is just something that amazes me.

Another one i saw was one called darkmatter laptop by techjango.

in essence i chose the 360 cuz i dont plan on playing on live anymore im just gonna be pc and offline 360 player, the 360 would just hold lots of titles and play on the laptop. but i guess that my only hope is the old as compaq presario sitting in my closet.... 360 go into? maybe

so my questions are now, how the sam heck would i get a laptop battery to charge and turn into roughly 130w of 12v for the xbox and also getting an lcd monitor made to accept something like dvi or hdmi or vga as im sure vga is still just fine for the xbox 360

You wouldn't. You need to use the 360's hardware. It's just a matter of creating a container for it, bolting on hinges and adding a screen. Obviously that is simplified, but you're not going to fit the internals into a normal laptop shell, and it would not be a good idea to for a beginner to try and mix and match power supplies at all. Ben Heck's site will be the most important resource if you intend on doing this, period.
