Power and temp targets are at 80 and 106, and I never hit either one. I run the voltage at the +38 or whatever, the default OC winds up being 1071.
It will run like that all day long. Then, I give it any OC... and get throttling all over the place without ever hitting the power limit.
The exception being... Valley. And honestly, that is the first time I have ever seen it go near 100%, let alone cap out over the limit at 108%. Actually, if I go a little higher on the OC, that is when I see my PSU voltage tank and get the driver crash.
I think I need to fix the problems that are causing everything else to run like crap overall, then I will mess with the BIOS. I understand the stock bios is a piece of junk, that being said, I have no intention to run any crazy OC. If I could get it back to the 1150 range I used to run at, I would be happy. I expect a decent bios would let me run 1200.
Right before Valley and the drivers crashed, I had epic amounts of artifacts, then poof. I am going to set everything to default, barring the voltage, and deal with it until I replace my power supply. The thing is 5 years old, so I think it is about time.Edited by Masta Squidge - 6/20/13 at 9:16pm
