FXAA is the one that gets the blurring accusations because of its algorithm and the fact that it is much less specific on what it targets and instead targets the entire frame which blurs everything, but uses much less power to render.

Maybe it's different on a single 1080P screen compared to portrait surround but x4 MSAA is definitely blurry to me with FXAA not being blurry at all. I run only FXAA in all my games and when I use them both or just MSAA the screen is certainly more blurry up close in foliage and at a distance and harder to spot enemies in an FPS.

Both blur, but i would say the result depends on the game. Some respond better to these settings then others. I think we both know this, but it shouldn't be any different from 1- 1,000 1080p monitors.
