That's right.

Incidentally, just as a comparison, the bandwidth in my 3 year old GTX480 is...wait for it...177GB/s. I am, as they say, disappoint.

Opencl has the potential to be just as good if not better but not for a while. Dx 11.1 is supposed to bring some pretty nice performance enhancements as well. I'm not an xbox fanboy btw, in fact I've preordered a ps4. I'm just saying that hardware won't do everything for you. In terms of raw power though the ps4 wins by a pretty wide margin.

According to the Developers, Sony has the most mature (and better to work with) development environment at the moment.

(PS: MS announced the XB1 is using DX11.2 either yesterday or the day before)

Two 7990's in QuadFire have a combined bandwidth of 1152GB/s, my own rig has a combined bandwidth of 288GB/s, I'm only getting a PS4 for the exclusives but I'm trying to better understand the advantages and disadvantages of both the designs that have been implemented within the consoles. For some reason, this has spiked my interest.

This is all just out of curiosity, not saying that the PS4 is technically impressive, with 480's in SLI, your rig should thrash it but the PS4 does offer an interesting price/performance ratio and I know, it's a static platform but I'm just looking at it now.

I'm also looking into it, so when I bring up the consoles and the PC, that I know what I'm talking about. I've seen so many people write up incorrect information (mostly on YouTube) and they get up voted like crazy, I'm trying to find out as to what is true and what isn't.
