Crossover lightbleed

Hi guys,
I have a chance to buy this pixel perfect 2720MDP Gold monitor for £170
Unfortunately I cannot get to see it so I've asked for some backlight bleed test pics.
My question is should I take a punt on this?
Thanks

There is a solution for most of these. If you take apart the panel and adjust how hard or loose the bezel grips the panel with electrical tape or just loosening screws it can reduce bleed. This thread on the first post shows someone performing this fix on a Qnix monitor

Tempted to get it and have a go at that. Could probable pretty much get my money back on eBay If it can't be sorted. Cheers.

Sounds like a plan when you word it that way... do it... and try what that one guy said about messing with the bezel.

I suppose the camera could make it look worse than it really is or it could also make it look better than it really is LOL! But someone else commented that it looked bad in his situation so unless you plan on "sorting it out" don't waste your time. But if it is a good deal and you don't mind messing with it then go for it.
