Help Setting Up Home Network - Page 2

When in network places, click the "View Workgroup Computers" on the left. This should display the computers that are in your network. If you cannot see the computers that are in your network, try clicking the up arrow on the toolbar. This should display the workgroups that your computer can access. Then Look through the workgroups and find the computer you are looking for. Once you find the computer double click it and it should show the files/folders that its sharing. Then you can make a shortcut on your desktop (or wherever) to access this easily.

Hope this helps!

i had that happen when i was running it with two routers between the PCs (dont ask why, i didnt know my new modem had a router) and i could not view my parents computer for my life.

look through your router settings, for anything that could relate to file sharing.
