I don't like to repeat what everyone else is saying too much... But I would suggest making sure that your CPU Clock rate isn't being interfered with by windows. I know most laptops come with the CPU limited from the factory and just changing the power plan won't solve it. So here is the path:

Control Panel
Harware and Sound
Power Options
Change Plan Settings (Of whatever power plan you have selected, in this case "Gaming" I believe)
Change Advanced Power Settings
Processor Power Management
Maximum Processor State: Make sure its at 100%

That is actually pretty good considering it notes 25% under the return policy.

They are pretty much sucking up any revenue they would make on it for you. They have a price that they will open box it for. Basically you are paying because they have to sell it for less because of the open box.
