Browser redirect virus.

Thread Starter
I used my phone hotspot that runs of a different carrier company as my main internet connection went down today.

I tried to access a webpage but denied and returned to the carrier webpage.

But now I'm on my main internet connection I'm getting redirected to my phone's carrier website.

I cleared cookies, restarted chrome, ran TDSSkiller, scanned google chrome folder with MSE, nothing.

Can anybody help?

Make sure that any proxy settings are correct, they shouldn't have changed but could have. Unless you've been given specific settings to use it's usually best to set it to automatically detect proxy settings (set in Internet Options > Connections > LAN Settings)

Maybe the DNS server is still set from your phone. You can go try setting it to 8.8.8.8 manually. Also go to the command prompt and try flushing the DNS with this command

ipconfig /flushdns
