Anyone good with Excel?

Thread Starter
I am having an issue with formatting data properly.

I would like to take that data and export it to a column graph so that it looks like:

I do not know of a way to do this myself other than counting each call for the hour manually and punching it into a new spreadsheet, but that is too tedious. I assume there is a way to do it, I just do not know how to go about finding it. If there is a function in Excel to allow it to tally up the number of calls per hour then generate the value next to the cells that would be perfect.

I need it to look like this for it to export to a column graph properly:

1PM - 4
2PM - 5
3PM - 8

etc

Any suggestions? Has been driving me crazy.

You should use the following formula to calculate the number of occurances within a specified timerange:

=COUNTIF((A1:A200,">"&TIME(7,0,0))-COUNTIF((A1:A200,">"&TIME(8,0,0))

It will calculate the number of calls within the time range from 7AM to 8 AM.
After filling in the 24 cells you will get the data to use for your graph.
