The 6800k is cheaper by about 40 dollars compared to a 3470 but when you get into CPU's like the newer Intel Core i5-4430 with HD graphics 4600 that costs only 30 dollars more expensive you see that lead that AMD has here would shrink majorly.
Not saying this isn't good for AMD I just want to see more fair benchmarks. I mean Id like for AMD to give Intel some competition so we can see more performance increase. Intel wouldn't do this Haswell crap if AMD would just catch up. This is good for both sides of the fandoms.
Yep, and Intel did a fine job with OpenCL performance. Also, the HD 2500 has 6 cores, the HD 4600 has 20. If AMD is going to use the new A10-6800K for comparison, then they might as well compare it with Haswell, which is the new offering from Intel.
