Yes, and GCN cards have been insanely faster than nVidia cards @ OpenCL , something that appears to be transfered with notable performance advantages in the implementation of OpenCL @ Adobe products.
I agree though that APU benchmarks against low end / outdated intel products are of little value when talking professional grade software.
Unless an APU can really compete against a current 3rd/4rth generation i7 chip, it is almost irrelevant to brag about. Lets face it, other than some students here and there, few people really interested in Adobe Suite or most other OpenCL accelerated apps (atm most of them are pricey graphics and video editing apps) could afford the software but cheap out $200 on the laptop / desktop they are building for serious use.
With more and more laptops opting for APU/IGP, this becomes relevant, but again, only if you are including a broader range of CPUs too choose from.
