Hi folks im running 2 gtx680s on an asus p8z77v-pro mobo and this is my 1st sli rig. I had problems recognising the second card at first until i looked on the forums about installing a 2nd card . But my problem being if i do a clean install i have to take my second card out and uninstall all drivers . My question is can i do a clean driver install without my second card not been recognised and have to take my card out and go thru al the procedure or is it a compulsary thing when doing a clean driver install? redface.gif thanks

I'm not aware of any issues involving the 2nd card not being detected. Generally Nvidia has the option to perform clean install if you select the "custom" option and it usually keeps a profile of previous settings to reapply during the clean install. I'm not 100% sure if this helps as your question is a bit confusing in terms of grammar, no offense.

HI thanks for the reply . When i perform a clean install of nvidia drivers and clean all my old registry using driver fusion and driver sweeper my machine doesnt recognise the 2nd card so i have to take the second card out and clean the drivers again back to standard vga drivers and then reinstall 2nd card then install the drivers . Is there some kind of guide for driver installation in sli as i keep having this problem? thanks
