Crossfire 7870's Water Cooling Help needed! - Page 2

One thing to note about this card is that I don't think its pcb is a reference design, meaning there is no full waterblock for it. You would have to get a universal block and put heatsinks on the vrams.

EK configuration states that the Sapphire 7870 OC is a reference design and will work with the full cover block.

Yes, i have 1 x 11199-19-20G and 1 x 11199-03-20G - does this mean that i cant use the full cover?
This suggests otherwise... http://www.coolingconfigurator.com/waterblock/3831109856376

I don't think that cover will fit. I haven't tried it yet, but I have the same card and I've searched high and low for a full block. One thing to keep in mind when getting cards from now on is to see if the pcb is a reference design if you plan on doing water cooling frown.gif
