No signal on monitor after adding another 4GB of Ram !!!

Hi as the title says i'm using an ASRock G41M-VGS3 Bulk R2.0 motherboard with support up to 8GB of Ram and i'm running on it 4GB Kingston DDR3 single slot and today i bought another identical 4GB to make it totally 8GB but after powering on i didn't get any signal on monitor and after that i tried with single stick this time with the new one and it worked, then i tried again with older stick and also worked so it doesn't work only if i put two sticks together, i tried to find an bios update but i can't find any for my model there's only for "VS3" and mine is "VGS3" the only difference between both is "network chipset" but bios updates cannot install on this model it just says "Error File ROM ID incorrect" so the only chance to try it out is to put two sticks together and to clear "CMOS" but still not sure if it will work so please help me what do i need to do to get working with two sticks (8GB of RAM) ? THANKS!

I'd clear CMOS just so your sticks will default down to a base-level speed that should be compatible for both.

Have you tried single sticks in the secondary slot as well?

Yep i tried and it worked on second slot but i found something that my motherboard just don't like to put the maximum capacity of ram so i just added another 2GB of ram and now it works perfectly with 6GB ram 4+2 smile.gif
