Due you really need to read these comics
Not just in response to this one post, but many...
Given the continued rise of the Stark empire in the latest serial(s), and Batman's almost-but-not-quite waning, or lack of future technological development, this just backs up what many have said; Stark has Wayne beat on the intelligence and the money aspect. Period.
Per his canon, Stark is among the three most intelligent natural born humans to have ever existed (Bruce Banner and Reed Richards the other two of the three I speak of), and given the augmentation of his Extremis and Bleeding Edge nanotechnology suits, when added to his body, actually aid his cognitive processing skills slightly, so this gives him an even bigger edge.
Don't call foul on that either, because it's a technology HE invented for HIS OWN use, so if it makes him smarter, bonus!
Spiderman? Just. No.
Batman? Sorry... I have never related to him. Can't. Just not my thing... He's great, and the latest movies with Christian Bale were phenomenal, but he's still not for me, apparently!
Ok, he's got all the Son of Krypton stuff going for him, but according to his lore, Kal-El has nothing so far beyond any other Kryptonian that would make him any better (the "Light of a Yellow Sun" problem). He's supremely strong, fast,near-invincible, has insanely heightened reflexes and senses, and yes
, increased (super-) intelligence.
Given that, however, is it ever shown that he goes beyond the "Big Blue Boy Scout" nickname that some superheroes gave him (teasingly) in his older days???
I'll take Stark (RDJ) any day!
Thanks - T
