Got myself a nice and stable overclock of 4.5GHz on my 3770K. Max core temp is 77C after many hours of Prime95, with 30C ambient temperature. Plenty of voltage room left for 4.8GHz, will go there once I delid my chip! thumb.gif

By the way, this AX240 radiator fits perfectly in my CM690 II Advanced. As you can see I mounted it at the top. I just had to trim the CPU power cable's plastic connector a bit. It doesn't interfere with the northbridge heatsink neither does the motherboard bend in any way. Next step: second AX240 at the bottom! wink.gif

Looks beautiful and you have loads of room for another rad at the bottom when you WC those GPU's!

Very nice Job...! thumb.gif

I noticed tat you used Mayhems X1 which IMHO is one of the best options for liquid (i use it too) In the small bottle you have extra color or is it biocide? Either way, you just dont need it at all!

Lastly, you have used deionised water instead of distilled... I would just prefer distilled, that you can buy for 1.5€ per litre from Bakakos shop in Athens or WFI (red label) availabe at a similar price in almost any pharmaceutical shop in Greece...

Beautiful Job thumb.gif

The little bottle is the red dye by Mayhems. I'm still not sure if I want to use it, probably not, but I bought it just in case.

I didn't fill my loop with this water, I just used it for flushing the rad and stuff. The shop assistant told me that deionized water in Greece = distilled, guess I shouldn't have believed him. People flush their parts with tap water though so even deionized isn't bad for that use. I bought the Mayhems X1 coolant because I was sure it would be hard to find true distilled water in here. Good to know drug stores have it.

Since you are using red tube, i would suggest to forget the usage of any dye (and its consequences).

Well regarding deionized... no, its not distilled nowhere in the world, but sometimes the sellers confuse these terms. As mentioned above, WFI (water for injection) red label would do the job as well, if you cannot order DI (distilled) from Bakakos (athens).

Mayhems X1 Clear has done a perfect job to my loop, preventing algae, galvanic corrosion and having almost the same heat tansfer performance as water has, which is superior to any other "normal" liquid.
On the other hand, I had huge galvanic corrosion issues when i used Ultra Pure Water by Mayhems (which is also an excellent product) with silver kill coil and no antigalvanic corrosion... Since then, PreMix with NO Silver killcoil is the solution for me!

To get an idea ...
