The telltale games are just stupid, there is no suspense because the game is too linear. The cartoon graphics also removed the fear factor from zombies. Cartoons are simply not scary.
Fallout: New Vegas was the Western one, and it isn't Bethesda (they only published it). I agree with you about TWD, I can't take the game seriously due to the visual style (which includes the hilarious facial animations). Voice acting isn't great either.
I would love
a proper Walking Dead game... an open world survival RPG, like modded Fallout in terms of gameplay and detail, though with the leveling system removed, since it wouldn't be about ranks or dominance but rather character struggle and survival. Complete with an A-Life system similar to modded S.T.A.L.K.E.R., with highly dynamic zombie AI and human AI... man that would be crazy. You'd be the group leader, and it would be up to you where to go next. Keep the heavy decisions from the existing TWD game, add a friend or foe system for each important character like Dragon Age. If you rival certain people enough, a revolt should be a possibility.
I'd like a new, open world (or open worlds
rather) Star Wars RPG as well, with an origin system like Dragon Age: Origins. A different starting location and backstory for each race/class you pick, and the game should keep the character development seen in Mass Effect/Dragon Age.
Why doesn't anyone make these games?
