Will Upgrading RAM increase performance?

Thread Starter
Just bought some new ram since it was on sale and was wondering if I will see any noticeable performance increase, even if it's small. I had 1333mhz cas 9 ram and bought 1866mhz cas 9 ram and plan to Oc it to cas 8. Will this make any difference in gaming? I am hoping for ~5fps Increase to my minimum FPS.
