GPT on hardware raid 5 array

Thread Starter
I need to create a GPT on this raid 5 array prior to installation of windows server 2008 r2. I see I cannot do that prior to installation in setup with the windows disc, as it apparently only uses MBR, which is restricting me to the 2TB limit for the partition.

Any tips on what I could use to setup the GPT? I tried using Gparted Live, but there was an error when I tried to create the full 13 TB partition. Running out of ideas. Any help is appreciated, as always.

Why do you want to create a 13TB partition for your OS file system?

Also, I wouldn't recommend installing an OS on a firmware-based RAID5 if performance matters.
