GPU memory multi-monitors w/different resolutions

Thread Starter
I apologize if this was covered in another thread I've tried googling this question and it seems people only talk about using 3x monitors that have identical resolution. My question is I have 3 monitors: 1 2560x1440, 1 1920x1080, 1 1680x1050. I have all of them hooked up to the same GPU 2 on DVI, 1 on HDMI. I use the 1440p for gaming & the others for displaying specs & webpages while gaming. My question is would it be benificial to have more GPU memory for my 3 monitors? I'm looking at either upgrading to a 770 4gb or a 780/7970 which both have 3gb as far as I can tell.

The answer is no. As you are still only rendering on one screen the vram need is the same as if you only had a single 2560x1440. Well the other displays do use some vram but its very minimal (like ~10mb).
