TY-141, 143 & 145 are ball-bearing
TY-140 & 147 are Enhanced Hyper-Flow Bearing (EHFB

Great reads and very useful fan comparison tool. I'll probably be going with TY-140's as they're relatively quiet, have the right mounting (shame some of the other 140mm have a square frame), and the A15's seem a bit too expensive to justify ~3dba.

You may not be able to find TY-140 but the TY-147 is same fan. I would gladly trade TY-140 fans for TY0-147 fans. biggrin.gif

Ouch! TY-147's are less than £5.00 plus tax here ($7.70) and that includes 20% tax. lmaosmiley.gif

Too bad postage is so expensive.

That's insane... A15's are ~ $25, are those cheaper in the UK as well?

Here Noctua A15 is $14.86 + tax. It's call VAT (Value Added Tax). rolleyes.gif

The HE01 is going to look weird with a 140 x 25mm fan... Without a thick 38mm fan there is going to be a rather large gap between the towers. I think the FHP141 is pretty quiet in quiet mode but sound is subjective.

I think HE01 in quiet mode @1200RPM and TY-147 @1300RPM would be similar in loudness

Different bearing type, hyper flow bearing is supposedly quieter. FHP141 is what i consider quiet around 900rpm but it's making some sort of bearing noise unfortunately.
