You can get them at best buy for 180.....Oh nvm TOO MUCH DREAM SOUND
Because a lot of other headphones are a leauges ahead of bose headphones. I will never ever ever ever ever ever use bose for anything. Senns are much better headphones and thats why most recommend them I would probably go with the Icemats over the bose set due to getting them so cheap. Also the bose sets are flimsy and tend to break easily.

I can guarantee that my Senn HD555's sound better then that pair of bose you link. And my Senn's cost me $80 (retail $155).

Eh, Ive never heard anything except for cheap ear plugs and the bose so I wouldnt know. All I do know is that the bose sound amazing.

And those bose didnt seem like theyd break.

I have the Audigy 4, xtremegamer, and xtrememusic. When using headphones the audigy was better. Using my Klipsch ProMedia 2.1, the x-fi's were better than the audigy. I probably just have bad headsets (Plantronics GameCon1), but using my headset with the x-fi's hurts my ears, dunno. xtremegamer and xtrememusic are pretty much the same, but the xtrememusic has higher output. Hope this helps~

I did not have all the cards in my hands but on those specifications I can see that only Gamer Fatal1ty has X-Ram.

Wrong link.

The X-Fi XtremeGamer is a different card than the one you pointed out and the 3rd link you provided, its Fatal1ty not Fidel1ty.

X-Fi Fatal1ty (With I/O Panel):http://www.creative.com/products/pro...&product=14000

X-Fi XtremeGamer (Fatal1ty W/O I/O Panel): http://www.creative.com/products/product.asp?category=209&subcategory=669&product=1 5854

Both of those cards have X-Ram.

the bose may sound amazing until you try a pair of Sennheiser, AKG, Grado, Bayer, Audio Technica (and the list could go on) that cost the same... then you'll never look at Bose the same way again!

I ment Fatal1ty not Fidel1ty, but as you can see on those links there is Xtreme Gamer (ordinary) without ram and Xtreme Gamer Fatal1ty with ram. In that case Xtreme Music is better then Xtreme Gamer but worse then Xtreme Gamer Fatal1ty.

Really? I do know that Audio Technica is very good but I've never heard of those other brands, are they really better or is that just an opinion?

I went from an audigy 2 ZS to an x-fi xtrememusic and there's a difference. BF2 mainly. I use headphones only.

Sennheiser, AKG, Grado, Beyerdynamic, and Audio-Technica are all highly respected by audiophiles. Bose is always looked down upon because of their horrible price/performance ratio.
