4770k overclock causing nvidia gpu crash

Thread Starter
I've got my 4770k oc'd to 4.6ghz @ 1.27v on a asus z87-plus. Runs fine in aida64 for hours reaching a max temp of like 85. However when I am playing a game like league of legends or world of warcraft I'll get kernel errors from the nvidia kernel. Ram is the same as the one in my rig. Anyone have any ideas what I could try tweaking to get it to stop crashing?

Do u also have the same crashes if your CPU is @default?

The latest nVidia driver (.18) is VERY buggy and broken.

https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/544882/geforce-drivers/official-nvidia-320-18-whql-display-driver-feedback-thread-released-5-23-13-/

Look in this thread. Over 1400 answers crying about bad driver and many many crashes.

No, no crashes at stock. Also, I already rolled down to a lower driver and issues still appear.

If your overclock is not proven 100% stable do not run it for a long time, it will corrupt windows and etc and it is just not fun. Make sure you get your overclock rock solid stable, it takes a long time but it is worth it.
