After what seemed like forever, my water cooling parts from Performance PCs arrived today. I was excited to assembled my loop but after unpacking my Swiftech MCP35X-RES, that may have to wait. My question is: Is what I'm seeing normal?

Please view the enlarged images by clicking on the thumbnails and clicking the "Original" button.

What looks like an opaque white bubble and a strange hazy "patch" around one of the ports.

White, yellow and gray gunk in the port threads.

A close-up of the previous picture

A patch of hazy scratches that doesn't wipe away with a finger or Q-tip.

Same picture as above but with the flash on.

Another yellowish buildup of gunk, but this one is inside the acrylic; I can't touch it from the outside or inside of the reservoir.

A lot of dust and fibers, as well as some other minor scratches and chips are present but not documented, as they are pretty minor and forgivable. The rest of the items in my order look to be in new condition. I've had two other acrylic reservoirs in previous loops (one Swiftech, one Bitspower) and they were flawless. Should I get a replacement for this res?

Looks like it was used and they put it up for re-sale after the previous owner sent it back.

I wouldn't accept it...
