Need help picking a 780GTX

Thread Starter
Hi guys,

I'm in a process of buying a card right now or within few days. I live in Australia. Thing is, right now I can get Gainward 780 for $735 however, Gigabyte reference is $829, Gigabyte OC is $849, MSI reference is $819 and for some stupid reason Asus reference here is $849.

I haven't owned an nVidia card in a while so I'm asking is Gainward any good? Reason for this is, card has a 2yr warranty compared to 3yrs with Asus/MSI/Gigabyte and also repairs for Gainward aren't done in Australia but overseas. Should I risk this for the sake of saving $100?

Thanks for your help smile.gif

Gainward is a decent company, but in your case i would go with one of MSI/ASUS/EVGA/GIGABYTE/PNY etc etc.

I would probably go for a Gainward if i was in the USA where RMA is very easy and have minimal complications. good luck with your purchase thumb.gif
