AsRock Z87 Extreme 4, posts but won't boot Windows 8

Thread Starter
Two weeks ago I rebuilt my computer with new hardware. Today, my computer won't boot into windows. I can get into my bios.
So I turn on the computer, loads the post and right after that it tries to boot, but gets stuck at a black screen with a blinking cursor on the top left part of the screen. Not sure what the problem is, I've tried a couple things but nothing has worked. Hopefully someone can help, thanks for your time.

Hardware:
Intel i7 4770k 3.5 GHz Haskell
AsRock Z87 Extreme 4
Nvidia Gtx 670
8 gigs RAM
Samsung 840 Pro SSD and 2 TB western digital
Windows 8

Asrock has a new bios released yesterday. If your booting windows from ssd, you might have to change the hard drive type to ssd in bios.
