NZXT Hue output in amps? Or max # of LEDs?

I'm trying to find out how many LED's I can string onto my NZXT hue reliably without simply testing it with trial and error. I believe it will be fine but I'd rather not burn out the power circuits. I contacted NZXT about it but...I figured it would be good to ask here, perhaps someone knows or a rep will chime in?

Right now I have the stock strip hooked to another 30 RGB LEDs as part of a special project I'm working on, and I was thinking about adding another 30. I probably won't, but I wanted to know encase I need to. For comparison's sake, my pinky-sized ebay LED controller handles 6amps and pushes ,90 LEDs fine with only slight dimming...but that's only a size comparison and not really a valid confirmation of output.tongue.gif

I've been running the total 54 RGB LEDs with no discernable drop in brightness on one channel and a very slight dimming when all three channels are on full power.

I am thinking of replacing the white leds on my led fans with rgb diodes so they have the same color as inside the case. Do you have them hooked up with resistors or just in paralell sodered to the included led strip? I have two led fans with 4 leds each, so 8 rgb leds in total.

Ive been in touch with NZXT and they confirmed that the hue led controller can output max 3 amps
