Help getting residue off of my monitor screen

Thread Starter
I have a Dell U2312HM I bought when it was released and now there's a bunch of random spots of slightly sticky residue on it

Any sort of solution particularly good for getting rid of this?

I just use rubbing alcohol and a microfiber cloth.

I use 91% and have had no problems. Just make sure your monitor is turned off, obviously.
