Wanted: Gtx470 stock heatsink

Wanted:
Gtx470 stock heatsink

Will Ship To: Anywhere

I need to RMA my EVGA gtx470. Right now it has a an Ek waterblock on it. I do have the original heatsink, but when I took it off originally some of the screws stripped (like all of them do), so i had a screw stuck in it without a head. When I tried to remove it i ended up drilling a hole through it, so I'm sure EVGA is going to try to charge me for a new heatsink which would probably be the price of a used card. So i am looking for a stock heatsink. I don't really need the outside plastic shroud, just the aluminum heatsink itself. I am looking to buy one immediately because my PC is down and I need it to RMA the card. If you have one of any reference brand Pm me with your best price and we can make a deal. I may also be looking for a Ek waterblock for a gtx470 because if i can't find the heatsink i will just buy another card and run them in SLi. Thanks

I'm sorry, I may have been unclear with my post. I actually need the black flat aluminum heatsink that goes across the whole card. If you have that i am definitely interested. Thanks

If you have an EVGA product, couldnt you do cross shipment where they send you a brand new card (say a 480) and then you ship back your non-working 480 (with the original stock cooler/aluminum heatsink from the brand new 480) and it should work. The heatsinks/coolers dont have serials to them only the card does. So as long as you ship back a cooler/heatsink with the card it should still work.

This was suggested to me by a customer service rep when i asked about modifying my housing/heatsinks and doing an RMA. This cross shipment technique is the only way i know is possible to get around doing an RMA when you dont have a heatsink/housing to return.

I thought about that, but there is a high chance that I won't get a gtx470 because it's an older card. I will probably end up with a 570 or 660 and those heatsinks wouldn't fit. Thanks for the suggestion tho
