Odd lag/stuttering in Call of Duty 4 with GTX 680 [on 320.18]

Hey guys. I'm having some lag issues that are unique to my 680. My older 460 was smooth, my 7950 was butter smooth, and the 680 by comparison is twitchy and has more in common with my GT520 than my other decent cards. I'm wondering if it's a driver issue. This is also specific to COD4 so far; it's running other games fine or more than fine.

Would others with GTX 680s and COD4 please report FPS and general visual performance?

get rid of 320.18 and go to 314.22

On a separate note, make sure you're running an FPS, netcode sweetspot.

Hopefully you're already aware of what this is.

Did for CSS, never for COD4. No reason why either; one of those never-got-around-to's.

Thanks Blackcurrent, that smoothed it up a bit. I'm still going to try the previous driver and see how it fares instead (I've only used 320.18 since installing the card) as Topgear suggests, just to see..
