Samsung Graphics Drivers

Thread Starter
I just got a lappy for my birthday (Samsung 355v5c), but I'm finding it impossible to download the newest drivers for my gpu (it's the a6-4400m apu with hd 7520g graphics and a dedicated hd 7670m)
The autodetect program from amd's site didn't recognize the gpu so I then went to the official samsung's site and the newest drivers they had there were from 22nd of october if I'm not mistaking. Infact the drivers for all of the notebooks on their site were old as hell.
Plus the Samsung software update thing listed my drivers as up to date which is bu**s***. The same in device manager.
May it be because I'm running w7 not 8? That'd be kinda stupid, but still...

So is there a way I can update the drivers?

I've been through the same thing with my Samsung laptop. From what I've read Samsung is blacklisted from the AMD drivers auto detect so the only way to update them is from Samsung themselves.

Have you tried downloading the drivers without using the AMD autodetect/verification tool?

You can get the latest AMD WHQL driver from http://www.guru3d.com/files_details/amd_catalyst_13_4_whql_download.html

Pick either the 32-bit or 64-bit Catalyst Mobility version depending on your OS. This works for my Dell laptop, but your mileage may vary, see AMD disclaimer below:

http://support.amd.com/us/kbarticles/pages/737-28041supportforatimobility.aspx

Edit:

Please also keep in mind that for laptops that have both an integrated and a discrete GPU, the Catalyst Mobility drivers will only work with "specific AMD Enduro platforms, that are second generation AMD A-series APU, or third generation Intel Core family based"
