1st time watercooling!! help/tips much appreciated

Really excited and scared at the same time, if anything goes wrong i cant replace the hardware redface.gif

Wanted to buy watercooling for a really long time but never dared to take the step, but today i will take that step with your help tongue.gif haha

So i got the Corsair 650D and Noiseblocker XL2 120MM Will these fans be enough or do i need to replace them?
I want to keep it as quiet as possible though.

Originally i wanted to buy something like XSPC RayStorm D5 RX360 Kit, but since i have a bit of a money issue i'm stuck with the 650D case and 240 rads, i was thinking of buying 2x 240 rads to compensate.

I only can spend about 3/350 euro's.

I dont need a GPU waterblock since i will be upgrading my GTX670 for a maxwell gpu in the near future.
So i only need watercooling for my CPU for now smile.gif

Should i buy this XSPC RayStorm D5 RX240 KIT and adding a extra 240 rad in the future so i can watercool my gpu to, will the pump be good enough?

I will be replacing the hose for a UV Blue tube and distilled water and a killcoil.

Or should i just keep the hose and add ready to go blue liquid like Feser One Cooling Fluid

Or what UV Blue liquid would you advise from this site

Sorry for the dutch site, only place i can buy it from since i live in Holland tongue.gif

Thanks for reading!

The fans and the kit look fine.
The pump will easily support an extra radiator and block or two.
I would recommend not using any coloured liquid as you will have to eventually clean it off.
I would also recommend using biocide like PT Nuke instead of kill coil, probably not a big deal, but watercooling hardware manufacturers don't like silver with their nickel blocks lately.
If you buy different tubing, make sure to pick correct size (7/16" x 5/8" in your case).

Good luck and have fun!

tube wise, go with primochill advanced lrt. make sure its the ADVANCED series. not many reported cases of plasticizer problem. i havent read of any other manufacturer fixing this problem.
as zalbard said, skip the kill coil and go with a biocide. a couple drops in your loop in your good to go.

Hey guys thanks for replying! smile.gif

I have looked for the stuff you both suggested.
Unfortunately I can’t buy the exact brands you suggested sadsmiley.gif
Only thing they sell in Holland are these:

Feser Base - FB - Corrosion Blocker

Feser Aqua - Ultra Pure Water 1 Liter

Is 1 liter enough or do i need more? no idea tongue.gif

PrimoChill PrimoFlex Advanced LRT 3/8 ID - 5/8 OD - Brilliant UV Blue - PFLEXA-58-B
Dimensions:
- Internal diameter (ID): 9,5 mm (3/8")
- Outer diameter (OD): 15,9 mm (5/8")
Not the right fitting redface.gif

Masterkleer - HighFlow - 7/16 ID - 5/8 OD - UV Blue

Really bad that i can only buy those cheap tubes for my fittings.... don't really like it.

I use Masterkleer and have never had any problems with it. The Feser Base will do the trick.

Oh ok smile.gif cool thanks.
I wont have to use smartcoils te get a decent bend without kinks?
Really don't like the look of those smartcoils. tongue.gif

You don't have to use smartcoils, I warm my tubing up in hot water to get a good bend. As with any tubing bend it too far and it will kink.
