Thanks fella.

That's what I wanted to know - the 760 reviews are out on Tuesday?

That's very important. I'll not open the 7870 XT until I read those reviews!

Just died man.

Columns of colours and static about an inch wide, then blackscreened. Rebooted, was fine, blackscreened when trying to load and 3D apps. Wiped drivers and re-isntalled, with reseated card and cables, no dice. Still dead.

Sad really frown.gif

http://www.techpowerup.com/186102/custom-nvidia-gtx-760-card-pictured-and-tested.html

The GTX 760 will perform par with stock GTX 670 (probably). OC the 7870XT to 1100-1150 core, which will perform par with the GTX 670. I ordered the 7870XT for 184 euroes (w/ gaming bundle) which is a very good price here. The cheapest 7950 is 265 euroes though :/

Best cards for your budget is the HD 7950

Also, is AMD reacting to the Nvid rebadge by launching new cards soon? I don't want to be obsolete on day 2 biggrin.gif

AMD will not rebadge cards this generation, they will release a new line-up with new chips. you might want to wait a little. I may think they will release it end of July but that is only my thoughts.

The Hawaii Pro, XT and LE are nothing else than new Radeon GPUs. The Radeon HD 8970 will most likely end up with the Hawaii XT GPU, whereas the Hawaii Pro may be used for HD 8950. We also have LE-part which could end up with the HD 8870 or HD 8930 graphics cards. Below you have a small prediction for the Radeon models. The latest official Catalyst 13.6 BETA2 driver included many new Radeon HD 8000 graphics cards, although we don’t know if the codes are related to the rebranded OEM parts or the upcoming retail models.

The Radeon HD 8000 series are currently scheduled for September, however there’s a possibility AMD may show the cards yet in summer.

You are the one that is incorrect. The HD 7930 doesn't exist. It's called the HD 7870 Tahiti Le.

Yes, this is true, the GTX 760 is suppose to release June 25th. But its only a rebadge GTX 670 and will not perform better than a GTx 670
