Gigabyte 7950 windforce overheating

Thread Starter
Hey guys, I've got two gigabyte 7950's in crossfire and one of the cards has been overheating to the point of throttling itself. Playing crysis 3 and Metro:LL it often hits ~100 degrees before it throttles itself, while the other card barely hits 80. I figured it was a bad paste job from the company so I took it apart and cleaned/repasted it to no avail. Guess my only other option would be an RMA?

not sure if 20c is expected in this but, i do know that the gigabyte 7950s dump the hot air into the case, and well, heat rises, so your top card will run hotter, which is why some people recommend reference cards for crossfire.
