That are some pretty impressive numbers. Besides from bragging rights, what is actually gained with this high memory speed? Performance increase presumably, but not nearly as much as core overclocking though, no?

...which is why it's a 760 and costs $110 less tongue.gif

I'm guessing they are "reserving" the Ti name for later use. Maybe when AMD's 8000 series hits the stores they can release a Ti model with power power/performance to match AMD's lineup.

The GTX 760 is the last Nvidia card for this line-up.

Coming back to the main topic, the reason why Nvidia might be skipping lower end GPUs like the GTX 750, GT 740 and other such SKUS could be the lack of competition in that range from AMD. The company can simply cut prices of the older GTX 660 and GTX 650 cards to make them accessible to people with lower budgets. As of now, that is the inference drawn from the leaked image. If AMD decides to step up the game, expect Nvidia to launch a counter product as soon as possible.

Well that sucks.. Still hoping for a Ti anyways.

But it's pretty cool the GTX760 has a 256 bit bus width now. thumb.gif Just sad it's not a rebrand of GTX670 for a lower price. (Ti hint hint)
