Please Help Gtx 670 x2

Hello everyone I have 2 gtx 670 ftw edition from evga what id like to do is to be able to overclock my cards and still be able to use sli ive made multiple attempts but all have failed
my specs are I7 3770k oc 4.2 Asus P8Z77-WS intel 240gb solid state hard drive 750W PSU 16gb gskill ram corsair H110 water cooling for cpu
Ive tried overclocking via msi after burner and evga precision X ive tried increasing gpu core in intervals of 10 by itself or mem clock same interval ive been benchmarking with heaven benchmark and if i change any settings not only does heaven crash afterburner and precision also crash please help sorry if this question has been answered in another thread i searched and didnt find anything definitively answering my question

You are increasing the voltage to when you overclock right? If not this is why.

Firstly thanks for taking the time to reply
I believe I did try increasing the voltage 1 time but not.by much at all maybe 1 tick increase using precision x and I still got the same result maybe I should increase it more ? Ive mainly stayed away from it as most info ive read said it was dangerous to mess with and id risk losing my card

Iwould try increasing it one or two notches more. Cards go bad when you increase the voltage extreme amounts not just a little bit. This will just make it not live quite as long but still most likely live a long time.

Using the Evga PX crank up the voltage everytime you increase anything. You can max out the voltage but you will have to worry about heat!!
