Xbox 360 controller or Logitech F710 for PC?

Thread Starter
So, yeah, looking to get a gamepad for the PC.

I really like the 360 design. I have really only used it like 2 times in my life. I'd like to try that analog design.

Being a PS user since the first PS, I'm used to the DualShock analog layout, that's why I think the F710 would feel familiar, but like I said, I'd like to try something different.

I don't know if you can use the 360 pad as a media control, or as a mouse. I watch a lot of movies, so that's something I'm really looking for too. I know the Logitech pad is programmable.

I was in the same dilemma a year ago and got the 360 controller

Epic purchase.

I heard 1-2 stories where although Logitech F710 acts and registers like a 360 controller, some people had issues.

I really believe the wireless one is great as well.

I have one and it delivers perfectly well.

And anyone knows if it can be used as a mouse?

I want it to watch movies also, and pause/play without leaving the bed.

Yes with third party software.

And stuff like XMBC and Windows Media Center are made for controllers and remotes.

Being a PS user since the first PS, I'm used to the DualShock analog layout, that's why I think the F710 would feel familiar, but like I said, I'd like to try something different.

I have a PS3 myself with 3 controllers, but decided to buy an 360 controller for the PC.
I just got whatever was cheapest tbh. I don't use the controller too much so having a wireless controller would be a pain for me.
