I've read online that it's something that Twitch players experienced (didn't read why). Disabling Shadowplay outright resolved the issue.

The performance bug with the latest drivers is still there with the drivers released today. This bug lowers performance while recording and that performance loss remains even when not recording until the game is restarted.

Let me know what mouse and keyboard you have and games you are seeing this is and I'll take a look.

We are still investigating this issue. Our next driver won't have a fix for this either.

@ManuelG_at_NVIDIA

Will ShadowPlay support 16:10 resolutions in the foreseeable future? (previous feedback post)

Heya peeps,

Anyone else getting issues with NVNetworkService after streaming to twitch for some time? After successfully streaming some gameplay, and then restarting my PC after the session, I get startup errors thrown by a variety of applications and services basically stating that they've failed to initialise parts of them requiring internet connectivity. This problem only occurs after streaming for a fairly decent amount of time (maybe like 1hr+? A quick 5min stream doesn't cause the problem above).

A quick check of Event Viewer shows a NVNetworkService error with Event ID 0.

A system restore to the point directly before beginning streaming solves the problem, and the problem is easily replicable for me (happens errytime). Furthermore, countless DDU wipes and driver reinstalls have not rectified the problem.

Logitech G710+ keyboard, Logitech G600 MMO mouse. I wasn't really using the special keys on either of them. Just normally playing the game, and then sometimes my game will just start almost hanging while refusing to accept key inputs (or stuttering terribly) and making this weird ping sound. I know it has happened in another game, but it looks like LoL is the one I've had it happen in most often. An almost obnoxious amount. I know I've read about some twitch streamers having the issue, but I'm not sure where. I'm at my work computer and I can't bring up the history. I'll do it when I get home if that's needed.

Oh wait, nevermind, here's the link:

I think this is pretty much exactly what I experienced.

@ManuelG_at_NVIDIA, when i start recording with shadowplay in a few situations (or go through them, i guess), particularly for example with level start and chatbox overlays on Osu, the recording breaks and outputs a basically empty file, but it can show the recording icon as if everything is working for like 10 minutes (which has resulted in me losing a few recordings that were important)

I think i've seen the same with planetside 2 map, but in the end i feel a little too cautious of "will this recording be broken?" and end up tabbing out to check, restarting recordings, restarting shadowplay etc all the time. I think i can reproduce it, because there's a window when an Osu map is about to start for example where i don't think you can record without breaking recording (always or sometimes) and it results in a lot of awkward pausing the game or restarting to try and start a record properly on some of the faster starting maps

In Euro Truck Sim 2 I often get huge lag/freezing when saving a shadowplay recording (60 sec) for about 15/20 seconds before it resumes. Saves fine though, but sometimes after this the shadowplay icon has a cross through it and I can't record anything until I restart the game.

And how about the SLI performance issue?
